Born in Athens in May 1972
He graduated from high school Varvakeio with "excellent" 19.5 grade, in 1990.Passed the national exams in 1991 (33rd order of merit) and enrolled in the Medical School of Athens University.

He graduated from the Medical School of Athens University with a degree of "Very Good" (October 1997)After military service and rural service trained in the specialty of ophthalmology in the Eye Clinic of Athens Ofthalmiatreiou. He is specialized in refractive surgery (laser treatment for myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, presbyopia, keratokonus with cross linking) in cataract surgery, in surgical treatment of glaucoma, in medical retinal and in pediatric ophthalmology.
He became a fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology by examination in Paris (May 2007) Joined the Coast Guard (December 2007). He bears the rank of lieutenant doctor. He is a consultant in the ophthalmologic department of Athens Naval Hospital since May 2008. He is the author of dozens of works in ophthalmic journals and ophthalmology conferences, and has won praise for his work as first author in two consecutive nationwide ophthalmological congresses in 2009 and 2010.
